In her early 30ies. capable to add many a feathers into her caps besides scripted History of becoming the First Muslim Lady Elected to Odisha Legislative Assembly in the era when Modi has Cornered Muslim from Central Main Stream, from Cuttack - Barabati a mainly urban Constituency since it is carved out and the second lady after the former first lady Chief Minister Mrs Nandini Satpathy. She is the first successful muslim enterpenour in the Real Estate Business toed into her Father's shoe. She could manage the Business of her father when the former was elected as MLA from the same Constituency. Besides she is affiliated to philanthropic organisations and her service during CORONA was very much commendable. On the whole Sofiya and Success are tied as lifetime friend. Let Almighty Allah's Mercy be always upon her.
She also has the background of a highly cultured and educated family. Her ancestors were from Ghaziabad later became domiciled at Chaudakulat of Kendrapada District, where her 3 to 4 generations lived and finally shifted to the then only City of Odisha, Cuttack. Sofiya is the descendant of 4th Generation after her ancestors settled here at Cuttack. Her ancestors have built a Mosque at Chaudakulat and donated Acres of land to Mosque for it's future Maintanance. There they were regarded as Zamidar Family. Sofiya's grand forefather Hannan Sahab who settled at Cuttack was a highly intellectual person spent his entire life in the field of education, a contemporary of Eminent Scientist Dr Prana Krushna Parija who was his inspiration. Hannan Sahab had 3 sons and 1daughter. All his 3 sons were humbled and soft spoken had reached to the maximum height of their services in their respective fields. His Son-in-law Mr.Jafrullah sahab was a famous and students adorable frofessor of Zoology. I am fortunate to get a place in his studetsfolk. Sofiya's Grandfather Dr. Nayeem was a famous doctor, retired as Jt. Director of Health was the youngest son of Hannan Sahab who has 3 sons and 3 daughters. Soon After his demise his 2 married sons also left for heavenly abode at their early age. The entire Family's burden was left with Moqeem, father of Sofiya, who was not broken but remained unfazed with courage faced the cruelity of nature and maintained the whole family giving equal importance to everyone. The success of Moqeem I consider is the blessings of his respectable mother who is separated from him recently. Sofiya's success is one of the fruit of her blessings.
